Board of Commissioners
The Ogemaw County Board of Commissioners is the governing body for the County of Ogemaw, exercising legislative and administrative functions. There are seven members on the Board, each elected on a partisan basis for two year terms from districts that are approximately equal in population. Board Leadership is elected each year by the Board which consists of Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson.
The primary functions of the Board of Commissioners include determination of type and level of County services, adoption of County budget, equalization of property values, legislative oversight services provided by Ogemaw County, appointment of various advisory boards and commissions, and county officials.

District 1 Commissioner
Greg Illig
Mr. Illig represents Foster, Ogemaw and Precinct 1 of Edwards Township. He serves on the Budget and Finance and Claims and Accounts committees as well as on the Parks & Recreation board, which he chairs. Mr. Illig also serves as county board liason to R.C. & D (resources conservation), Rifle River and Roads & Bridges. |

District 2 Commissioner
John West
Mr. West serves as board chairperson and represents Precinct 2 of Edwards, Precinct 1 of Mills, and all of Horton Township. He chairs the Insurance and Negotiating committees and serves on the Budget and Finance, Law Enforcement and Ordinance Enforcement. In addtion, he is the county board liason to the Michigan Association of Counties, 911, Human Services, and District Health Department #2. |

District 3 Commissioner
Pete Hennard
Mr. Hennard serves as board vice-chairperson and represents Precinct 2 of Mills and all of Richland Township. He serves on the Personnel/Policy, Negotiating, and Insurance committees. Mr. Hennard also chairs the Commission on Aging board and serves as county board liason to the Hardwood Lake Board, Solid Waste, Roads and Bridges, NEMSCA, Region 7B, and 2nd Chance Academy. |

David E Wolfe
Mr. Wolfe represents Logan, Hill and Cumming Township. He serves on the Personnel/ Policy (chair), Claims and Accounts, and Ordinance Enforcement committees as well as the Airport Board and Commission on Aging. Mr. Wolfe also serves as county board liason for Roads and Bridges. |

Scott Colclasure
Mr. Colclasure represents Precinct 1A of West Branch Township and all of Churchill Township. He serves on the Negotiating, Insurance and Law Enforcement committees. He also serves as county board liason to the Emergency Medical Services Authority, the Airport Board, Planning, E Central Mich PDR, and Mental Health Board. |

Beverly L Scott
Ms. Scott represents Precinct 1B of West Branch Township and the City of West Branch. She chairs the Budget and Finance and Law Enforcement committees and serves on the Claims and Accounts committee. Ms. Scott also serves as county board liason to the Airport Board, Parks and Recreation, E Central Mich PDR, Economic Development Corporation, Medical Control, District Health Department #2, and 2nd Chance Academy. |

Bruce Reetz
Mr. Reetz represents Rose, Goodar and Klacking Townships and the City of Rose City. He chairs the Ordinance Enforcement committee and serves on the Personel and Policy committee as well as Claims and Accounts, Parks and Recreation, Central Michigan Planning, Human Services, RC& D, and Solid Waste committees. |
